Phan Thiet (Travel in Vietnam)

Together, these traditional fishing villages are fast becoming a popular leisure destination. Resort-style developments have been rising along the coastline, though so far the lives of the fishing communities remain unchanged and Mui Ne’s long beach is quiet and serene, great for walks, jogging and spectacular sunsets. Hanging around in Phan Thiet can be more enjoyable than in the 10 km near Mui Ne Resort Strip because you will meet local people interested in you and you can go on and try to have a chat with them.

Phan Thiet is is the capital of Binh Thuan province in Vietnam. It is a small-but-thriving Vietnamese city, and would be a decent destination for tourists in its own right. White sand dunes is the main attraction in Mui Ne. I fell like I was in Dubai or in Egypt when I was there.
